Constituency development fund

Fr national assembly's committee in charge of constituency development fund faced employees wrath following failure to disburse the sh 25 billion allocated to them in 2016,the lawmakers said various projects to their constituencies had stalled and hundreds of students relying to them had failed to report back to school.

It emerged that most of the constituencies were yet to get the funds two months to the new financial year, they expressed their anger at the committee chairman. After it emerged that the Treasury had only set aside sh 8 billion for the next three months.

From this each of the 290 constituencies will get shilling 8.1 Million as the first trench will be shared equally. In addition to the small allocation they said the committee was taking longer to table the list of allocations to each constituency.

NYS saga

Recently the nys issue shot afresh in the minds of Kenyans as the former cabinet secretary ANN waiguru who vied for the gubernatorial sit in kirinyaga was named as the jubilee frag bearer in the previous nominations

This was when members of parliament argued that ANN waiguru should not be in a government office due to previous nys scandal of which it was said that she had a hand in it.waiguru had to defend herself before the criminal investigation department CID and Parliamentary committees together also with the ethics and anti corruption commission, waiguru claimed to be a whistle blower of corruption in nys and after deep investigations she was found not guilty of any allegation placed upon her.

The act of MPs recalling such a scandal which was almost forgotten is like a wound which was almost healed but injured again.

Drugs the major cause of blondness.

In recent time there have been a wide spread of illicit brew which were being made for cheap prices, these brews were so wide spread to the whole country and particular in the central region ,this brews although were affordable they contained chemicals which were very harmful to human health

They would cause blindness, lack of body strength and sometimes death, due to these conditions the youth who are the most affected were not able to do any jobs, they relied on borrowing 10 or 20 shilling to buy these harmful poisons which were very addictive

Thanks to the media who acted as the whistle blower for so as to create awareness of this harmful products, the media's voice was so loud that the government had to act without immediate effect to make sure that this poison diminished completely.

Although it was not a walk at the park the gorvement together with the media had to put a spirited fight to make sure no more lives would be lost and that the young people regained consciousness through rehabilitation programs.

It was a surprise to learn that some leaders including chief would oppose such a tremendous step by the government due to their own interests.

Kdf withdrawal from Somalis

There is a lot of pressure the some politicians and citizens that the Kenya defence forces should be withdrawn from Somalia and come back to the Kenyan borders

But my opinion is that kdf should not be withdrawn until somalia stabilises and become safe to live in,it was just the other day that somalia was able to elect a president, a broad step that have been enhance through operation linda nchi.

Before this operation,Kenya was affected with terrorism attacks which led to death of many people, the country at that time was referred as a hot bed of terrorism thanks to the kdf and amison for taking charge as royal soldiers.

However this operation have led to a lot of refugee coming in to the country such that refugee camps in Kenya are very congested, but the government have come up with strategies to return the refugees back to their country for peace have been restored.

Cattle rustling the obvious trend

It was only few days ago that I called my relative who lives in laikipia Western constituency in laikipia county, she gave me crucial information that is of interest of security to the laikipia west residents, cattle rustling have been the order of everyday everyday gunshots and screams are heard are cattle raids take place.

The leadership of laikipia should act immediately and stop sleeping on their job, recently the president ordered the KDF soldiers to go and maintain peace in the region, there was an operation to confiscate fire arms that were acquired illegally but all this is yielding no fruits .

Or are there powers facilitating insecurity In the region? Serious investigations should be conducted to establish the roots of insecurity in the county, this is a place where many media houses have gone to cover insecurity reports, various top government officials have been there and therefore something must be done urgently.

It is saddening to learn that a certain community can herd their livestock in other peoples' gardens ,causing crop damage which results to great losses to farmers and yet no one is to ask them.

Opinion polls

In recent opinion polls done by ipsos synovate state that if Kenya could conduct elections today president Uhuru Kenyatta would still become Kenya's president with 47% of Kenyans who may vote for him all over the country.

Whereas the leader of opposition raila odinga would be voted by 42% of me yans all over the country, 8% of Kenyans said that they were not decided of who to vote for the opinion poll also suggested that if elections were to be held today there would be a run off since no aspirant would reach 50+1 votes.

My question is are these opinion polls factual? Can they be trusted by Kenyan's and what is the credibility of such opinion poll institutions?

I have done my research and found that Kenyans do not rely so much on these polls, this is because they state contrary to the final results ,for example in kiambu the polls stated that William kabogo would be the winning candidate in previous jubilee nominations but that was not the case during nomination results.

Some of these polls maybe to favour politicians for their own interests such as to gain fame and more support from Kenyans, this happens not only in Kenya alone ,but in recent USA elections opinion polls suggested that Hillary Clinton was always ahead of Donald trump

But during announcing of the presidential results the whole world was shocked when Donald trump was announced as the presidential winner.the opinion polls should base their information on facts as collected.

Standard gauge railway

The launch of one part of the standard gauge railway tomorrow on 31st may 2017 from Mombasa to Nairobi will see the country to greater levels, according to the president who will launch the SGR.the journey will be easy since it will take  4 hours contrary to using road which used to take 8 hours.

The train fare will be 900 shillings per one trip, however the residents are appealing to the government for reduction of train fare so as to enhance that everyone benefits from the invention of the modern railway.

The railway is expected to improve the Kenyan economic standards and improve the kenyans' standards of living,it is also one of the vision 2030,the second phase of the SGR will go from Nairobi to Mombasa and the third phase from Nairobi to kisumu.

Respect rhe Presidency if not the president.

yesterday after submitting  the presidential papers to the Iebc the president went to address the public at the kicc premises in Nairobi, which every leader has a right to but my concern is that some individuals were spotted throwing stone towards the president meeting.

Even if you do not love the president as an individual you have to respect the presidency as an office of the whole nation, people should know  that a president is the peoples" choice and the peoples voice which is the voice of God,

Even if you never voted for the current President the president have the mandate of serving the whole country without favouring on one side.therefore those people who try to disrespect the president and the presidency should know that a country is more important than one individual.

who to trust?

the rate of false preachers have increased  at a higher rate in kenya where money and worldly luxuries are put at the fore front rather than preaching of the true gospel as per the bible, this is evident by the construction and invention of many church in recent time .unless you are very spiritual it is very hard to differentiate false preachers from true preachers this is be cause false preachers have dominated everywhere and they too use the bible to justify them.

today i happened to pass near jivanjee gardens where a pastor was preaching about prostitution on seeing one lady with a min skirt he started condemning the lady to everyones suprise the lady shouted the pastors name and everyone was amazed since they seemed to know each other, conflict arised when the lady confessed that the pastor used to do prostitution with other peoples wifes.

it seems as if Christianity is losing value which is not the case since this is just a game of some individuals who claim to be like sheep but in real since they are wild dogs,God can never be mocked because whatever one sows so shall he eep their is also another issue of "panda mbegu" where one is asked by a pastor to give certain amount of money so that he can recieve miracles, the bible states very clearly that Jesus did all kinds of miracles without asling for a pay, then if this is the case pastors and preachers should expect noting in return when they give the word.

so as people not to be confused and fall in these kind of temptations they should read the bible and interplate it  so as to know the truth and facts as they are written in the bible, fake preachers should be refereed as thiefs and are supposed to be held accountable of their offences according to the law

Kenya stand on icc

pushed the country experienced post election violence in 2007 six Kenyans were charged at the international criminal court, the accused defended themselves saying they were sacrificial lambs as they were never involved, to anyway in the violence.Kenyan fought hard that the indicted could come back home .the court dropped some cases, saying they had no evidence to prove the accused had been actually involved in the post election violence.

Throughout this period the jubilee administration especially as two of the leaders had cases to answer pushed for Kenya"s withdrawal from icc saying the court was meant to prosecute leaders from the African continent and their counterparts from other continents were not questioned even if they go against  the law and cause deaths in their countries.

The government pushed the ICC saying it was in a position to handle the matters affecting the country internally without outside interference. The government went on to convince other African countries to back its  decision of withdraw from the court saying the continent was in a position to come up with a criminal court resembling the ICC

After the two remaining cases collapsed due to the fact that there was no enough evidence to prosecute them the issue of ICC have never been talked about again .The big question is: was the withdrawal agenda driven by the leaders to escape from the criminal court?
If they really meant what they were saying why haven't they continued to push for the same after the court terminated their cases?

Women in power

The new constitution of the republic of Kenya states that a third of the members of Parliament should be women, its 10 years since the constitution was promulgated and this rule have not been put into effect, women should vie for leadership to ensure that their voice is heard and their grievances acted upon.

Women have always been undermined they have been always regarded as the infinitive  group in the society,

Drugs in colleges and universities

Drug usage in current colleges and universities have raised to greater levels  in Kenya leading to school dropouts, formation of crime gangs and early pregnancy,

The influence of drug usage is due to peer pressure from other students, anxiety to experience, and lack of self control.

Why everyone is a drug user.

Have you ever sat in a matatu just next to a cigarette smoker? Or have you ever been next to a bhang taker what was your experience?
You can proof me right to say that we all are drug users this is because the stench of the drugs reaches your nostrils

This is smoking indirectly and can be more harmful than the one taking drugs directly. The effects  of inhaling such a content may cause health effects such as chest complications, lung cancer, thraught cancer.

To avoid such incidents drug users should use places set aside to take drugs, these places are always set away from public places to avoid affecting others drug addicts should ensure they Clean. Up that harmful smell after taking drugs such as cigarettes and bhang.

Condemning hate speech

a report given to the media houses by the nicic chairman Francis ole kaparo stated that their will be no room for hate speech in the country particularly at this time as we approach the general elections on august 8.

He stated that strategies have been put in place to tame hate speakers by recording their speech in public meetings and campaign rallies. This is a great step if it will be acted upon ,this will prevent steering of violence and state that no one is above the law.

Scales of justice

With the appointment of the new chief justice and the president of the supreme court of Kenya, the judiciary is expected to experience tremendous change in handling of judicial issues, due to the chief justice religious aspiration,Kenyans are expected to regain hope that was lost previously from the judiciary.

This will be evident in the coming elections where the judiciary is expected to handle election petitions freely and fairly. So as to give Kenyans credible results the Court have to listen to both sides of the case and come up with a just ruling.

Judiciary should avoid participating in corruption allegations such as bribery, it should not favour on one side, and with that hope in the judiciary will be restored among Kenyans.

Tax value

Tax in Kenya is not and will not be enough to facilitate development projects in Kenya this is one of the reasons why Kenya is facing a lot of debts from loans given from the foreign nations
One of these reasons is that  employees are never contented  with their salaries, they will keep asking for more  and this may lead to increment of tax.

The second reason is that loans taken by the gorvement must be paid and this may lead to high taxation this may lead to high cost of living among citizens.
Thirdly, development projects needs a lot of funding which Kenyans may not afford for example construction of the standard gauge railway and other major projects.

Church conflicts

recently times we have witnessed a lot of Church conflict between Church leaders one of them being the independent Church where two bishops  are conflicting claiming that both are the church top leaders national wide.

This have brought a lot of division  among the Church members leading to confusion in the society. church, these church institutions are supposed to restore and give hope to the society therefore it is so sad  when men of cloth lead to conflict in the Church.

The Church is the eye of the society it is supposed to condemn social evils and vices in the society such as corruption, tribalism, nepotism but if the Church may loose credibility due to conflicting leaders. The church should be where national and county leaders seek advice and the Church should be the number one institution to preach peace in the country to promote unity among citizens at all times.

Way to city "hole"

It will be hot fire between peter Kenneth ,mike mbuvi sonko and Evans kidero in the gubernatorial position in Nairobi on who will go to city hall, this was after the nominations where Evans kidero was given a  direct ticket by the Orange Democratic movement(odm),mike sonko is the nominee for jubilee party and peter Kenneth who is Vieing as an independent candidate.the decision is with the Kenyan voter

But the question to whoever will be chosen is whether will they go to city whole or city hall, this is because Nairobi city need a change,it needs to be better than it is now.leaders who are visioners .the city must be clean garbage must be collected, security must be a guarantee to all.

More about islam

Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity with more than 1 billion followers ,it originated in Arabia and has spread all over the world.

Countries with the largest Muslim population including Indonesia ,Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey and Iran .there are an estimated 7million Muslims in America along with Islam places of worship called mosques In all 50 states.

Muslims believe that around 60ad a man named Muhammad from the Arabian city of mecca, started receiving revelations from God or Allah via the angle Gabriel, the revelation were collected in to a 114 chapter holy book known as the Quran which Muslims believe contain the exact word of God.

The holy month of ramadan

e is a holy month of fasting and prayer for muslims, the followers of Islam ,fasting is one of five fundermental principles of Islam .each day during Ramadan Muslim do not eat or drink from sunrise to sunset, they are also supposed to avoid impure thoughts and bad behaviour.

Muslims break their daily fasting by sharing meals with families and friends, and he end of Ramadan is celebrated with a three days festival known as eld-al- fitr ,one of the Islams major holidays.

The history of khonja mosque

p the junction of Nairobi's moi avenue and the beginning of river road stands a three storey iconic store building many call it khonja mosque but its actual name is Nairobi town jamatkhana meaning prayer house or mosque. Build by the Ismaili community led by aga khan, the foundation stone of the mosque was laid in January 1920.

Two years later in 1922 its construction was completed ,the building of the mosque was credited for stimulating business growth around the area as many people started building business premises hence the name bazaar street which was later renamed biashara street.

The building of the mosque was also significant for historical reasons:
1 it was prominently situated i n the city center of colonial Nairobi, its construction and opening made it a high profile building for its time.
2  it symbolizes the permanent settlement of the isimaili community in the colonial Kenya ,online sources indicated that Queen Elizabeth visited the mosque in 1958.

Drugs in streets

s often walk in the streets of Nairobi city and what I see astonishes me,you Will find street children idling around   sniffing glue and when they see you all what they ask for is a10 shilling not to buy something to eat but to buy this harmful drug which they  have become an addict from.
This is one reason its so hard today to tame drug addicts who are adults,it is because they started taking drugs when still young

These are the people who turn up to be dangerous thugs causing insecurity in the country, they fail to manage their lives accordingly and end up in a stressful living.

It is everyone "s role: the gorvement, social organizations and the society at large to make sure that these children live a better life by providing essential needs such as food, shelter, clothing and above all education.

These children should not be neglected by the society, they should feel that love that them too are part of the society ,this is the only way to help them stop using drugs such as glue.

Its illegal to coeree voters to register

Voter's registration is quickly turning into the newest frontier for political contest leaders across the political divide have aggressively come out to get their supporters to register as voters and ultimately cast their ballots, registering and voting is a Democratic right and a citizen's obligation ,all eligible voters must be encouraged to exercise this important civic duty but no one should be threatened to take a voter's card, voting is equally a constitutional right and should be respected .

However it is alarming that some enthusiastic and over bearing fellows are threatening citizens over voter registration, reports are emerging from various regions where governors ,political leaders and lobbies such as business groups are threatening to sanction those without voter cards in some counties the residents are being warned that those without voter's card will not get services in government offices or be allowed to transact businesses in markets

This is illegal and un expectable ,voting is a solemn duty but nobody should be threatened to get a voter's card ,voting is equally a constitutional right and should be respected.

election focus

with the elections around the corner, and with the political elite in the mood of starting to unleash handouts to peasants the narrative as wew approach to the elections must be "development" defined as mammoths harambee in which huge stocks of bank notes are ostentatiously displayed before bewildered rural dwellers.

the elite prefer to deal with peasants who respond to their benevolence and to politics of patronage nobody questions the source of the money even when the leader's name has only recently been in the news in connection with corruption scandals.

We in kenya do not get enraged about corruption, we only become enraged when the fruits of corruption and patronage are not shared according to our expectations and when the public officials being bounded for corruption are not from our tribe.in this country as in the rest of africa people seel political power not to implement programs to benefit the society but but to handout benefits in form of jobs and lucrative contracts to their relatives, tribesmen and their political allies.

Do we have any political party that represents competing ideas and policies for the future? NO ,what we have are structures created by the elite for the purpose of exploring state resources for members of their ethnic communities.

fighting graft is difficult in this country because of symbiotic relationships between corruption and competition for political power,we have multiple institutions that form our integrity system and infrastructure including the ethics and anti corruption commission ,the auditor general, the judiciary, the public procurement authority and parliamentary committees but the tradition away from entrenched corruption has been hampered by the absence of robust political competition. The basic cause of corruption in this country is politics of patronage.

We want development not propaganda

The voice of mwananchi is crying for development and for a better living but there is no one to listen to that cry but instead or what is heard is propaganda from politicians

They promise heaven but deliver hell  during campaigns they come their mouths full of sweet words .very convincing but after electing them they disappear and come back after five years with the same promises.

Its time for citizens to exercise their right to vote without fear or favour to elect the right leaders who will bring development and improve their living standards.

Thursday, 25 May 2017

Respect the mwananchi decision

It is so unfortunately that many politicians do not respect the decision of citizens in their right of whom to vote for this is evident when some of them fail to resume in power and thus find a chance to scandalize the politicians who have been voted for just to tarnish their name so that they can influence the decision for mwananchi ,these leaders should know that the decision of common main should be respected, even if a leader is influenced In a scandal and is chosen, its non of their concern ,furthermore they shouldn't have waited till election time since they had adequate time to do so,some politicians are just self centered and jealous of their colleagues, they are self-centered .

some behave as they are above the law and they are untouchable there decisions can't be rebuked or criticized, they are the finality of their desicions ,they act according to their thinking and do what they wish.

Its time for wanjiku(citizens)  to act so as to show such type of leaders that they are just representatives of a certain period of time so they have no time to brug and boast.

more help for drug addicts

there are techniques for getting addicts in treatment that work if not right away then overtime ,even in the seemingly most hopeless situations .So how can families ,friends and colleague help the addict?

GET EDUCATION ABOUT DRUGS
addiction is a chronic progressive brain disease characterized by compulsive drug seeking even in the face of job loss ,damage relationships and other negative consequences ,only when it is treated as such can concerned loved ones provide the level of support ,patience and understanding the addicts need.

PRACTICE SELF CARE
Loved ones can educate ,encourage and persuade but they cannot control the addicts behaviour including putting an end to any abling and getting help from self help meetings for loved ones of addicts  and or working with a therapist.

SET LIMITS
Loved ones should often put the addicts feelings and needs first and become enmeshed in the lies and chaos .setting and enforcing boundaries not only allows loved ones to resume control over their lives practice health detachment and safeguard their own health and well being but also helps the addicts face natural consequences of their actions ,while loved ones may gladly help the addicts look for a job or choose a treatment center .They must set clear boundaries around behaviours that are unacceptable,eg asking the addict not to come around if they are drunk or refusing to loan money or pay their bills,

will any of these approaches ensure that every addict agrees to treatment or sta
ys sober for life? No that is not the nature of that chronic relapsing disease, what they do provide is the message that help is available and there are influencial people who care enough to help the addicts find their way.
in some cases the addict may be angry and resentive and require time and on going encouragement to recognize the need of change
this can be particularly trying for loved ones who must stay close to the addict even as they self destruct .If not for the addicts sake and for their own peace of mind that they did all they could.

help for drug addicts

in an ideal world every addict who arrive in in drug rehab would be cognizant of their disease and determine to get well ,but when dealing with addiction ideal situations are rare .
there is an ongoing debate whether an addict who does not want to be helped can be helped, many belief that only the addict can help themselves .They have to want to quit but in the midst of active addiction few addicts want to quit in fact addicts by their very nature are unwilling patients.

changes in the brain which has been hijacked by drug leave the addict powerless to truly see themselves and make rational decisions, because they have come to depend on drugs to function ,they will make excuses justify the indefensible and put of treatment ,there are many ways in which addicts are pushed into treatment: court order, divorce, loss of child custody and hospitalization.

most addicts develop the motivation to sustain their recovery after being helped into treatment, when they start learning about their disease and feeling better than they had before since they started using drugs.

common man

the life of a common man has sored to greator heights where individuals are gripped with poverty and unemployment leading to people going to bed hungry, the common man has continued to suffer while the politicians they worship dine in very expensive hotels

a research done by ipsos  synovate has indicated that at least one person in 31% of kenyan population go to bed hungry ,the survey is aclear indication of the life of people who waste their time worshipping politicians instead  of earning in income earning ventures

high economic rate is another challenge that have affected the common man in that basic essential needs like food priced have gone up for example maize flour ,wheat floor ,sugar and milk are some of the products that a common is hard to afford and yet he or she needs them on daily basis for  survival.

still in the economic standards the common man has no option but to pay high taxes in order for the goverment to pay piling loans borrowed from international countries and to pay  salaries to politicians who only think of themselves and have no place for the common man

it was only yesterday that i realised a hundred shillihg have no value in nairobi if you want to have lunch,as we talk of the high standards of living in kenya we should also consider how we use our resources,e have a lot of resources which if used appropriately may help to solve the problem of inflation, kenya have fertile lands which are grown a lot of plantations such as rice, coffee, tea,
maize ,pyretrum ,which some of the crops are exported as cash crops.

we sell our cash crops as low materials  to foreign countries at cheap prices, they refine it and sell back to as in high prices,if only kenya would develop refining industries and factories so that direct coffee from the farm can be refined and processed from kenya and sold to the foreign countries the rate of economic levels would have a solution

youth bulges

youth bulges have become a global phenomenon and kenya is no exception of this trend ,a youth bulge occurs when 20%of the population of a country is comprised of youths. In kenya the youth bulge presents a number  of challenges for both the youth and the country. youth represent the most abundant asset Kenya has or will have over the near future

nevertheless there has been a considerable number of surveys conducted and report and studies published that in variable conclude there are persistent risks ans challenges faced by Kenyan youth which include unemployment ,marginalization, harassment by police and impediment in accessing essential facilities and services such as education and health care

the youth are and will remain a share of kenyan population for the fore seeable future developing and implementing appropriate strategies, policies and programs to mitigate ,the challenges and risks the youth face must be a much more of a priority to the government  than currently is and failure to provide appropriate opportunities to these large segment of the population could have enormous economic ,political, cultural and social consequences

engaging the youth population is no longer a choice but an imperative in the developing process that is also recognized by the government

value of religion

how is religion responding to live wires like rights, race relations and violence extremism? how will new trend in religion affiliation affect the relationship between religion and politics?
depending on my point of view religion is the source of values like compassion and social justice that are essential to the harmonious co-existence of diverse groups in any given society it provides
the rationalization for intorelance and injustice towards"the others"which is the root of conflict and suffering
reality of coarse is much more complicated than eighther perspective
in any case religious beliefs and beliefs about religion innevitably shape social values and political power in both the secular societies of the global north and the deeply religious cultures of the global south .explore the relationships between social and political issues from economic inequality to immigration

economic inequality is both a social value that people of faith feel called to address and a reality that shapes religious communities ,for example, among people living in poverty it is witnessed the selfless services of catholic nuns in african slums aswell as religious "nones" to find meaning in their efforts to help the poor on their own backyard.
in its relations to economic inequity religion can eigther be the opiate of the people or the agent of social change. mosqoes  and temples are growing rapidly while churches remain popular even as many second and third generation opt out of religion all together
at the same time many religious communities have taken a leading role in advocating for immgration. reform faith based groups organize marches for immigrants, lawyers help refugees with asylum congregations over sanctuary to undocumented families

religious instructions are always at the center of the immigrants lives because that is where they can find community and support in their new home.

young power

mr ezra chiloba the chief executive officer of the independent electral and boundaries commission (the electral commission of kenya) IEBC said "the obvious one is thequality of leaders we vote into office,if we vote in the wrong people we get the wrong results " this means that if the youth vote in people for the wrong reasons ,they have no reason to question the policy outcomes in future.

the youth who participate in voter bribery have no reason to question the corrupt leaders .we cannot vote on tribal basis and expect to build a cohesive and united nation we all desire"chiloba says addi that politically consious  youths must ask themselves where their future lies and invest accordingly.

youth and politics

as a country kenya will only have itself to blame ie tough questions about the role of the youth in national development are not asked. It is regretable that kenyan youths complain about issues that affect them yet squander opportunities to influence the election of people who share their aspirations.

over the years the political class have used young people to add to their voter numbers, this only leaves the young people crying over empty promises about employment creation ,reduced cost of living and a good business enviroment.Kenyan youths miss in such opportunities because they do not vote in an informed manner ,the youth have not crafted strategies to participate effectively in elections to influence policies..

political elections and campaigns

elections provide basic, human ,civil and political rights and therefore election monitoring contributes to the overall advancement and protection of these rights ,all candidates, political parties and political organisation that want to learn should be able to do so and should be able to compete on an equal ans impartial basis before the law and authorities.

every citizen from the age of 18 has the right to elect and to be elected ,inorder to obtain their right to vote they must be recorded in the voter's register in accordance with the elections law, each voter should be able to cast their secret vote without fear, violence ,goverment action or fear of reprisal .No bstacle should stand in the way of candidates to freely express their views nor to prevent voters from getting involved in the campaigns or to discuss or learn about their views .
the media should be aforum of free communication during the campaign period without interferance or unreasonable reastictions imposed by the authorities.

economic effects of drug abuse

the economic impact of drug abuse on business whose employees who abuse drugs can be significant while many drug users are unable to retain or hold full time employment, those who do work put others at risk.particularly when employed in positions where even a minor degree of impiarement could be catastrophic:*airline pilots
                                   *air traffic controllers
                                   *train operators
                                   *bus drivers
are just a few exanples

economically businesses are often affected because employees because employees who abuse drugs sometimes steal cash or supplies ,equipments or products that can be sold to get money to buy drugs. Moreover absentism ,lost productivity and increased use of medical and insuarance benefits by employees who use drugs affect a business finacially

effects of drug abuse

the negative consequences of drug abuse affect not only individuals who use drugs but also their families and friends ,various businesses and goverment resources although many of these effects can not be qualified.the most obvious effects of drug abuse which are manifested in the individuals who take drugs include:
*ill heakth
*sickness
