MY LIFE HISTORY.

 My name is Keneth kuria. I am a person living with visual disability since my first day in this world, I went to various schools which are, st Joseph primary school in laikipia county  in which I studied from class 1 to class 3 (2001--2002) I transferred to Thika primary school in 2003 and this is where I studied for four years to 2007, I then relocated to my home area in laikipia county and joined ADANED shining stars where I completed my primary school education in 2010, in 2011 I joined Mwenje primary school still in Laikipia county where I studied for 4,years to 2014. In 2016 I joined NIBS Technical College, however I didn't finish my course due to various challenges that made me not to perform well in the course, 

ACHIEVEMENTS

I was enrolled for attachment at KBC channel 1 TV for three months, that is from January to March 2018 where I trained as a studio Technical operator. I was also enrolled for attachment at mediamax Network limited from April to July at Kameme FM in the production department and later joined Kameme TV from August to October the same year where I trained in the studio Technical department as a sound operator.

CHALLENGES

I could not graduate in college for I didn't complete some examinations including external examinations (ICM), Thus I have never gotten the course certificate.

Challenges in studying due to my visual disability that makes me slow in learning.

This have affected my life psychologically, financially and socially. For I want to complete my course but I am not in a position to do it due to life struggles.

I have never gotten any job but I try to hustle so as to earn a living, some times getting peanut payments that are unsustainable.

I have tried to venture into business but still it's not realistic particularly in this Covid 19 period.
