Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity with more than 1 billion followers ,it originated in Arabia and has spread all over the world.
Countries with the largest Muslim population including Indonesia ,Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey and Iran .there are an estimated 7million Muslims in America along with Islam places of worship called mosques In all 50 states.
Muslims believe that around 60ad a man named Muhammad from the Arabian city of mecca, started receiving revelations from God or Allah via the angle Gabriel,the revelation were collected in to a 114 chapter holy book known as the Quran which Muslims believe contain the exact word of God.
